"Creating a home that reflects the spirit of you."™
About Carolyn Westbrook Home
In 1994, Carolyn Westbrook was in the clothing design business. In 1998, while doing a tradeshow in New York City, she created chaircovers for the tradeshow chairs, having no idea that stores would clamor to buy them. It was then that Carolyn Westbrook decided to pursue a dream she had always had. With her passions for interior design, self-expression, and searching for hidden treasures, Carolyn Westbrook Home came to be. Her style is heavily influenced by her love for the French Countryside aesthetic, with a subtle twist of her southern herritage.
Carolyn's specialty is linen. She initially designed slipcovers, and then expanded into pillows, bedding sets, and other home textiles. As the Carolyn Westbrok Home brand continued to expand, she was approached to create a home/lifestyle book, which featured her home, The Oaks Plantation. The first branded book was released in 2004 entitled Carolyn Westbrook Home. Carolyn has continued to share her signature style in books and magazine features across the globe. She has appeared in many home décor magazines in the U.S., France, England, Russia, Japan, and more. She spent time as an editor with Romantic Homes magazine, writing her own branded article. In 2011, the Carolyn Westbrook Home brand was picked up by one of the largest top-of-bed manufacturers. Carolyn was fortunate to be able to design her own fabric line for bedding and bath products, as she moved into the 5th Avenue showroom in New York. Her products carried by Bed Bath and Beyond.
Carolyn artfully mixes soft colors with bold accents. Though linens are her specialty, she also loves to entertain, cook, and open her beautiful home to friends and family. She sees the home as a canvas for self-expression; learning to "reflect your spirit" in your home decor is what truly transforms a house into a home. Carolyn wants to help others open their homes for entertaining as well. She provides several resources, whether it's recipes, party ideas, or simple tips and tricks to make event planning easier.
